Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, measures 138 x 138 cm and is made of oil and gold on canvas and was painted in Vienna.
Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I is a painting by Gustav Klimt completed in 1907 and was sold for US$135 million to Ronald Lauder for his Neue Galerie in New York City in June 2006, which made it at that time the most expensive painting ever sold. It has been on display at the gallery since July 2006.
Adele Bloch-Bauer became the only model who was painted twice by Klimt when he completed a second picture of her, Adele Bloch-Bauer II, in 1912.
Garçon à la Pipe

Garçon à la Pipe (Boy with a Pipe) is a painting by Pablo Picasso, painted in 1905 during Rose Period when Picasso was 24 years old soon after he settled in the Montmartre section of Paris, France.
The boy was a model in his teen years who hung around Picasso’s studio and volunteered to pose for the oil work.
The painting was first bought by John Hay Whitney in 1950 for US$30,000 and on May 5, 2004 the painting was sold for US$104,168,000 at Sotheby’s auction in New York City.
Dora Maar au Chat
Dora Maar au Chat (Dora Maar with Cat) measures 50 ½ by 37 ½ inches / 128.3 cm by 95.3 cm canvas which displays Dora Maar the painters’ lover seated on a chair with a cat perched on her shoulders.
This painting was done during the year 1941, when the Nazis were occupying France. In the 1940s, the painting was obtained by Chicago collectors Leigh and Mary Block. They sold the painting in 1963 ‘Dora Maar au Chat’ for $95.2 Million at Sotheby’s. Making it the second-highest price ever paid for a painting at auction. This painting is considered to be one of the most expensive paintings in the world.
Portrait of Dr. Gachet
Portrait of Dr. Gachet is one of the most revered paintings by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh and fetched a record price of $82.5 million in 1990.
There are two authentic versions of this portrait, both painted in June 1890 during the last months of Van Gogh’s life. Both show Doctor Gachet sitting at a table and leaning his head onto his right arm, but they are easily differentiated.

Bal Au Moulin de la Galette commonly known as Le moulin de la Galette, displays a typical Sunday afternoon at Moulin de la Galette in the district of Montmartre in Paris.
Bal Au Moulin de la Galette is an 1876 painting by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. From 1879 to 1894 the painting was in the collection of the French painter Gustave Caillebotte; when he died it became the property of the French Republic as payment for death duties. From 1896 to 1929 the painting hung in the Musée du Luxembourg in Paris. From 1929 it hung in the Musée du Louvre until it was transferred to the Musée d’Orsay in 1986.
As of June 2009[update] the Bal du moulin de la Galette is fifth on the list of most expensive paintings ever sold.
